Earlier this week, I was able to successfully run KITT.AI Snowboy (a local wake word detection engine) on iOS with Swift 3. I spent a couple of nights on this because I had to learn how to build an Objective-C wrapper for a static library written in C so that Swift 3 can consume.
This is the first working example of Snowboy using Swift 3, and I am very happy that my work can contribute to the larger software community. I made my very first Pull Request on GitHub and my code has been merged into Snowboy 🙂
My project is available on GitHub here. Happy coding, happy sharing, everyone!
